What is hypertonic solution and hypotonic solution and Isotopic solution?

Hypertonic solution : When the solution that has more osmotic pressure than blood plasma is greater concentration than isotonic solution (0.91-1.2% Nacl) then the solution will be said hyper tonic solution.

Hypotonic solution : When the solution that has less osmotic pressure than isotonic solution (0.089-0.6% Nacl solution) is called hypotonic solution.

Osmosis : Movement of solvent from the solution of lower concentration to higher concentration through the same permeable membrane with the help of osmotic pressure is called osmosis.

Diffusion : movement of molecules (Solute) from higher concentration to concentration is called diffusion.

Osmotic pressure : The amount of pressure is required to stop the osmosis completely is called osmotic pressure.
Tonicity: Toxicity is the osmolality of a solution related to plasma.

Isotonic Solution : The solution that has the same osmolality (osmotic pressure) as blood plasma is called isotonic solution.

EX :Normal saline, 5.4% Dextrose solution.
